Why Marlboro?

Truly God has blessed us from our humble beginnings in November of 2014 as we have focused on learning and doing God's will and His alone. Our focus has been on His Word for it is the Word of God that has the power to change hearts and save the lost (Heb. 4:12). All of our bible classes are aimed at learning God's Word so that we may share it with all that will hear. To that end, all of the Bible study materials we select are purchased for the brethren so that they may have a reference library to aid them in their studies to rightly divide the Word (2 Tim 2:15). We encourage adults to memorize scripture and our young children recite memory verses after evening worship, which is uplifting for all.
To make sure we are built on a solid foundation, we followed the pattern God set forth for His Church and appointed elders in March of 2015 and then selected deacons shortly thereafter. We moved from an elementary school to a conference center in the summer of 2015, then purchased land in the spring of 2016 where the church building will be built. In the spring of 2017, we finalized our plans for the building and purchased the architectural drawings and after many iterations and prayers, we secured the loan for our building in February of 2019 and started construction in April of 2019. It is our goal to not be burdened by debt and from the very beginning set forth to build a functional yet aesthetically pleasing building that will be completed Mid-December of 2019.
We know that the victory that over comes the world is faith (1 John 5:4) and that God will always provide for His children. Just as Paul commended the brethren in Thessalonica for their work of faith, labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, our aim is to be examples of faithful followers of Christ and a pillar and ground of the truth in the local community and region (1 Tim. 3:15; 1 Thess. 1:1-10).
If you have the ability to come visit us we would be honored and grateful to share the good news of the Gospel of Christ with you! In the Love of Christ!
